Hello Ma'am,
I will need a little bit of more details about your problem. If it had happen previously in winter seasons or are you having any kind of allergies or any previous respiratory infections. Then accordingly I can advise you the medications.
For example, if you are not facing severe breathlessness, bluish discoloration of nails, cough with sputums, fever then the most probable case can be Seasonal Allergic sinusitis/rhinosinusitis(can't be assured until proven).
In such case, you can take Tab Cetrizine 10mg 1 tab once a day at bedtime and Nasivion S nasal spray(only if runny nose)
You can be allergic to climate change.
You should be careful when you go outside and also eat healthy and stay hydrated.
Add seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Take - tab Citrizine 10mg - once daily at night × 3 days
And go for blood tests -
CBC,IgE
Review with report.
Kindly consult directly for detailed history and examination for further appropriate management. You're probably having allergic bronchitis and will require medications during seasonal and acute exacerbations
Shallow breathing with a mild cough that comes and goes with the weather is usually the airway reacting to dust, pollen or humidity shifts, not a lung problem on its own.
Next Steps
A general physician visit is worth it if this keeps recurring, to rule out allergies or a mild respiratory infection.
