B12 deficiency = replace B12; IM if neuro/malabsorption, oral if uncomplicated; permanent malabsorption → lifelong replacement. Need proper evaluation and management accordingly.

Hello dear, I have reviewed your report. Your Vitamin B12 level is low. You may need a course of Vitamin B12 injections initially, followed by Vitamin B12 tablets as advised. We should also do a detailed evaluation to identify the possible reason for the low B12 level, such as dietary deficiency, absorption problems, or other causes. Once we complete the evaluation, we can plan the appropriate treatment and follow-up. Please don’t worry—Vitamin B12 deficiency is treatable. We can discuss the treatment in detail during your consultation.

If you don't prefer injections and you don't have any symptoms per se. You can take oral vitamin B12 replacement in the form of tablets like tab methylcobalamine 1500 MCG once a day for atleast 3 months and continued further on the basis of your repeat reports. But if you have any symptoms and if there is requirement of rapid correction of vitamin B12 levels then injectable forms can be used. You need to get a "CBC with peripheral blood film with reticulocyte count" report to check for your hemoglobin, and wether B12 deficiency has started affecting your bone marrow. Also take a deworming tablet of tab albendazole 400 mg single tablet.

consult for further guidance

Given that your vitamin B12 levels are well below the normal cut off range, you definitely need to take Methylcobalamine supplementation either via injectable or oral, injection preferred.
Next Steps
inj. Hydroxocobalamine 1g IM once daily x 7 days then 1g IM once a week for 3 weeks then once a month for 3 months then, depending on the cause/or repeat b12 levels and some additional factors, may be given once every 3-6 months.
Health Tips
Cause for b12 deficiency needs to be investigated which would decide the accurate dose and form of management...all depends on your symptoms and on your diet

Your vitamin B12 level of 78.31 pg/mL is significantly low and should be treated, but the need for injections depends on your symptoms, CBC and the cause (diet, absorption problems or medicines). I would review CBC, MCV and folate and ask about numbness, weakness or balance problems. Please do not self-start injections without an assessment; seek prompt care if you have neurological symptoms.
Next Steps
Please arrange a physician review soon with the full report; I can guide your treatment and follow-up through Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj.

Your Vitamin B12 level of 78.31 pg/ml indicates severe deficiency (normal range starts around 200 pg/ml). At this critically low level, body tissue stores are exhausted, placing you at high risk for megaloblastic anemia, persistent fatigue, brain fog, and peripheral nerve damage (such as numbness or tingling). While high-dose oral tablets can work, injectable therapy is clinically preferred initially because it bypasses gut absorption limits to rapidly replenish depleted cellular reserves and prevent nerve complications.
Next Steps
Please book an online consultation with me so we can review any active symptoms and prescribe the exact dosage schedule suited for you.
Health Tips
Do not delay starting treatment, as prolonged, severe Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to irreversible neurological complications. Since natural B12 is primarily found in dairy, eggs, and meat, strict vegetarian diets require ongoing oral maintenance supplements to prevent levels from dropping again. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe limb weakness, loss of balance while walking, extreme breathlessness, or chest palpitations.

As your B12 levels much lower than normal(minimum-200)...i would suggest to take b12 intramuscular injections weekly for 6 weeks.... It will replenish your b12 needs...
Next Steps
there after take b12 daily for a month...that will fill your b12 stores in your body
Health Tips
You will feel energetic when b12 got replenished. Injections are much better for such a low level than tablets... try to include noveg diet in your routine...if you are pure veg...take youghurt in daily meals..that's the only vegetarian source of B12... Thank u

You should consult physician for evaluation and treatment. Vitamin B12 injections may be required, especially if you have symptoms such as tingling, numbness, weakness, anemia, or suspected malabsorption. In some cases, high-dose oral B12 supplements may be sufficient. Please get a CBC and discuss the appropriate treatment regimen with your doctor. Avoid self-administering injections without medical advice.

Your B12 level of 78.31 is below the standard reference range on this report, so it does need correcting. Whether tablets or an injection are the right route depends on how low it is and why.
Next Steps
Please take this report to a physician who can decide the right form and course based on your full history.
Health Tips
Untreated B12 deficiency can affect nerves and blood cell health over time, so it is best not left unaddressed for long.
