Either arm is fine for a normal blood pressure check, but it's best to use the same arm every time so readings are comparable. A difference of up to about 10 points between your two arms is common and not worrying.
Next Steps
Check it while seated with your arm at heart level, after a few quiet minutes of rest. Avoid tea, coffee or exercise right before. If you've never compared both arms, check each once and keep using whichever reads higher.
Health Tips
See a doctor in person if one arm reads much higher than the other every time, or if you feel dizzy or unwell.
