Blood clot in arm after blood test
I recently had a blood test done. Due to difficulty in finding a vein, the doctor pricked both my arms. Now both my arms have blood clot and the arm she pricked several times has bruise and tenderness too. Plus it's painful to move that arm.

Hello. I understand your problem. It is called thrombophlebitis. It can happen on pricking of veins. Do not worry, they are not serious. Apply Thrombophlob gel 3-4times per day over the area of bruises. Take tab Pyrigesic 1gm twice daily after meals for 3days to reduce the pain. Hope this helps.
