Black spot inside left cheek
I noticed a strange black spot inside my friends mouth and he smokes since 6-7 years and actually doesn't remember if he bitten his cheek or not so kind of scared due to online research regarding benign or non benign black spots in mouth. What to do?

Sometimes it is a blood clot which appears like this and is due to bitten cheek sometime ago. I don’t think it has anything to do with benign or non benign lesions. Rest you can show it to a nearby dentist so he can see it clinically too.

Please visit an oral medicine or oral surgeon for proper examination. Though it doesn't seem to be anything suspicious and could be a cheek bite with clotted blood. But fro exact diagnosis you need to visit a dentist.
Next Steps
You can also observe it over for a few days and if the size doesn't increase/ or the lesion changes color towards normalcy/ or it disappears, there's nothing to be done. However, if the lesion increases in size immediately seek medical attention

Hi, There is no need to panic. From the picture shared, there is no abnormal finding. Suggest you meet a dentist for a clinical examination.
