Anxiety and stress and insomnia
I have health anxiety and insomnia I somehow think these two are interrelated so had been to a doctor he has prescribed placida and restly tablet at night is it ok to take both the tablets at night .

Hi, Yes, anxiety and insomnia are very much related. Yes, these medications are for anxiety and depression and related symptoms Combination of both medications and psychotherapy (CBT, mCBT, relaxation techniques, counselling etc) produce better results than medicines alone

Thank you for sharing,Yes Insomnia and Anxiety is related.being a psychologist I cannot give opinion on medicine.but I had seen psychiatrist has already given you explanation on that. However if you are not satisfy with your own doctor I suggest you to go for a second opinion with another doctor, but with medication also take psychotherapy from psychologist.Psychiatrist and Psychologist work together in mental health for clients betterment.

Hello, thanks for your approach to us, yes tats true both are interlinked. Anyone are stressful - feel anxiety naturally leads to insomnia. It could be for overthinking / thought processes, fear of future what could happen... For various reasons the person will end up with this situation, it is for personal, professional, relationship and others. The same way you might have ended up with this crisis, however doctor have prescribed you accordingly, but dealing with anxious or stressful things should be your next step. The cope with the problems is very important apart from having medication.

Yes both are inter-related. And the Dr would have prescribed accordingly.. Anxiety can be handled and overcome by therapy also.. I would suggest you go for both and bring the difference within you.
