We consulted Dr Poornima Gowda for my wife's 2nd pregnancy for the whole pregnancy term. Everything was going good till her 38 weeks of pregnancy except the Doctor was never on time 90% of the time and she never checks the history of the previous visit and the form which we need to fill before 15 minutes of your appointment. *** ** **** ***** ** ******** ******* ** *** ******** *** ******** **** ** ****** *** ******** *** * ****** ******** ******* * ******** On her 39th week scan i.e., on Monday 24th May, she said that she messed up with my wife's case history and asked her to take RT PCR test for Covid and plan for an elective C section delivery on 29th May. My wife gave her RT PCR samples at Cloudnine Whitefield at around 12:30 pm on 24th May. We got her report on 25th May afternoon as Covid positive with 26.5 ct value which was completely unbelievable for us as we had not gone out of our home since last 1 month. Then, we got a call from Cloudnine CRM and she told that since my wife is Covid positive, there will be extra charges for the delivery which is somewhere around 20k . ** *********** ****** ** **** **** *** ******** ** ****** ** **** ***** ***** *** ** ** ****** ******** ** ****** *** ***** ******** ************* We video consulted the Dr on the same day and she told to postpone the delivery by at least 10 days. We consulted the doctor again and this time she told they will consider my wife still Covid positive to be on the safer side but she told to hurry up for the delivery and do it as per the plan i.e., on 29th May. During my pregnancy, like every expectant parents, we wanted the best for our baby and us. Luckily we knew Dr. Meeta before my pregnancy. She has done my polyp surgery. After that surgery I was very convinced of continuing with her for my pregnancy journey, and I’m very glad that we did. She is one of the best doctor I have ever met.
Dr. Meeta is exceptional in patient care and what I liked the most about her is her positivity and ability to put her patients at ease. She listened to all our questions and spent time for answering those and addressing all our concerns very patiently.
Â
Through my course of interaction with Dr. Meeta, I also felt that she possesses a unique quality of understanding that each patient is different and that she understood exactly what we needed. I was 38 when I conceived. I had a lot of complications in my pregnancy including hypertension, high blood sugar, low placenta position, low baby weight. But Dr. Meeta always kept me motivated and ensured that I don’t worry about things when not needed. She told to concentrate on that part which we can control and not concentrate on those which we can’t control.  She advised to take the entire journey of pregnancy and childbirth step by step which made it less overwhelming. She helped me to manage all my issues mainly through diet and lifestyle changes. She mainly focused on protein intake to increase baby’s weight. I really liked that she would recommend and encourage to follow home remedies to rectify a problem rather than prescribing medications. She also suggested options such as meditation and reiki to keep my stress under check.
Â
She has not only been supportive and motivating during the entire period but also extremely understanding of all the apprehensions and questions that I had and helping me through it. She instilled all the needed confidence in us and at every stage took the best care possible with timely medications, counselling and advise. Every time, I visited her, the warm welcome and the positivity I got from her was the most important thing I needed.
Â
During second trimester of my pregnancy we understood that we won’t be able to complete 40 weeks of pregnancy due to mu complications. So she prepared me accordingly and from 26 weeks she gave medication to mature baby’s lungs. Finally in 33+ weeks I have delivered baby girl via C section. Since the baby was premature and having LBW, she did all the arrangements to admit baby in the NICU under the care of Dr Ankur Rajavanshi after the delivery.
Â
It needs a kind heart and immense presence of mind to handle such challenges and my case was a clear indication of her dedication to her profession and her patients. Dr Meeta was a blessing for us. Thank you Dr. Meeta and Cloud nine Team for all your support and guidance and for making my Pregnancy and childbirth journey so memorable. I would strongly recommend Dr Meeta.

We have been consulting Dr Poornima Gouda in Cloundnine, Whitefield, Bangalore, since early pregnancy, Oct’20, and delivered our second baby on July 14th’21. Both Mom and kid are doing good without any complications. Thanks to Dr Poornima for supporting the Normal delivery as per our wish. However overall our experience at cloudnine Whitefield was horrible and I am listing a few instances here,
Nurses – The capability of supporting nurses is not up to the expectations per our experience, an example - the nurses did not bother to connect the NST device properly (that checks the baby heartbeat and pain before labour) until I noticed and informed them.
The nurses did not come at regular time/ or instruct upfront on the medications, a few time we had to call them to check (like tablets to take before food/after food)
The Duty doctor was very arrogant (on duty 13th Jul’21 nigh) – When we enquired if my wife could get Epidural because the pain at some point was intolerable, she commented sarcastically like you want a normal delivery without any pain huh?
The nurse as well apparently told duty doctor that we have been telling them how to use the devices (from point#1) the duty doctor then shouted at me & my wife that nurses know how to use devices better than us et.al, It would have made some sense if duty doctor had the mind to understood the problem that we tried to point out about the nurses..
The duty doctor also mentioned that she has been tired of treating many patient throughout night.. however for us it’s our only baby and delivery for lifetime, if she is tired of work she should probably inform her superior doctors et.al and not use the patient /my wife to relive all the anger, who is been at the peak of labor, just for asking if epidural could be administered!!
The duty doctor than called the gynecologist(Dr. Poornima gowda) and told that we are demanding for epidural et.al which we never did (we did enquire but did NOT demand), obviously she was trying to make some points on her side..
After the delivery my wife was still in tears because of the way the duty doctor mentally harassed her while she was in labor room..
It was not over yet.. the nurses gave bath to my wife in cold water(at 6:30am), when she said the water is very cold, the nurse threw the mug away and kept her waiting.. can’t further describe..
Yes, as patients we may ask more questions in a critical time(because it’s one time instance in life and the fear of unknowns) but it was the responsibility of the doctor to handle and not yell/scold the patient at that time.
I still respect the work the duty doctor did along with Gynecologist and delivered our kid through normal delivery but I believe that does not entitle them to treat us the way they want or the mood they are in..
We had our first kid delivered at ovum hospital which was a very pleasant experience throughout and we had to choose Cloudnine hospital this time because we relocated to Whitefield, A decision that we will regret for lifetime..

We had decided to consult Dr.Meeta Chawan for my wife's pregnancy from 4th Month, trust me it was the best decision we made. Initially hospital allowed only mothers to meet the doctor due to COVID situation and I was worried, as either myself or any of our family members couldn't get a chance to directly speak to doctor. But when I got a chance to meet the doctor via video conference and 1st week of December 2020 , Dr Meeta cleared all our doubts patiently.
My wife cervix dilated by 3 CM in the 36th week itself but she didn't get the labor pain and Dr. Meeta Chawan suggested to wait for few more days to get the labor pain naturally for normal delivery and doctor initially doesn't prefer to go for C-Section or for starting the medication to initiate the labor pain. Family and friends circle was putting lots of pressure on us to get admitted for delivery, so we have visited the hospital again in the midnight.
Duty doctor in the CloudNine examined my wife condition and consulted with Dr. Meeta Chawan via phone, then they asked us to take decision whether to get admitted to start the medication for labor pain or wait for few more days. We were not able to make the decision and was in dilemma. Duty doctor explained us the situation and cleared all our doubts. So we decided to go home. Next day visited Dr. Meeta chawan again in the morning for OT.
Dr. Meeta gave lots of confidence on why we can take risk by going home and wait for few more days for labor pain and she preferred to push for the deliver al-teast by 37th Week. It was on 9th Dec and cervix dilated by 4 CM but still no labor pain and doctor suggested to get admitted by 12th Dec, even when my wife is not getting the labor pain.
As doctor suggested we admitted my wife on 12th Dec morning and doctor started the medication to initiate the labor pain. Finally it was normal delivery with assistance of vaccum extraction, as my wife was unable to push the baby and got exhausted in the final stage. Due to vaccum assisted birth, my child head had bulged a bit. Dr. Meeta and pediatrician, explained the condition and they gave confidence that it will go away and does not cause serious problems. As they have mentioned, we see changes in baby head as the days goes on.
Best part is Dr. Meeta Chawan and duty doctor allowed me to be in the labor ward at the time of delivery. This is my life time experience , because of this, I could realize the pain and value of mother. We are really feel so blessed with baby. So I would highly recommend Dr. Meeta Chawan.

I consulted Dr Ananya for infertility 2yrs back. She patiently listened my condition and asked to go through some basic tests which are required for studying my health condition. After reviewing the reports she immediately diagnosed that I had PCOS. Ananya explained clearly about my health condition and started treatment for this. She gave instructions and used to follow-up with my health condition regularly time to time. After 1yr we heard the good news that we have been waiting for and I was very happy knowing that I was Pregnant.
We continued consulting with Ananya during my entire Pregnancy period and strictly followed her instructions. She always asked me to try for normal delivery only and suggested relevant diet and exercises that needs to be followed. I'd have a list of questions noted down which she'll answer before even asking so she understands what you'd be thinking at various stages of pregnancy. She did delivery to me and finally we were blessed with a very healthy baby girl. Throughout the process she explains things in detail and calms your nerves down.
Thank you so much Ananya for everything you did to me in all these 2yrs and bringing happiness in my family. Thank you on behalf of my husband as well.
To summarize about Dr Ananya, She was very friendly, clam and supportive. She was always approachable. The best thing with doctor Ananya is she will not give you any unnecessary medications.
I'd like to thank her for making my pregnancy journey smooth and would highly recommend her.

I am very happy visiting Dr Meeta Chowhan. I went to her with my friend's reference who had an IVF and shared very good review to us. This was my first pregnancy and due to Corona situation I used to visit her alone as my husband had to wait outside. But I never felt any doubt on her and took any second opinion. She guided me very well through out my pregnancy till my delivery and I always trusted her. he used to be always very positive and to the point. I also felt that she is very friendly and makes comfortable to discuss any problem or answering any question which is very important during this whole journey. But she does not discuss things very prior like when I asked whether I can have a normal delivery or c section in my 7th month she said I still have lot of time for that and explained the possibilities for both. For sometime I thought may be she will prefer c section for me as she did not say anything definitely but I trusted her as she explained the things properly. And my thought was wrong. I understood this at the end, actually we can't predecide these things and she was absolutely right. At beginning there was no complicacy in my pregnancy, but in last scan it was found that amniotic fluid is less, baby weight is lilltle more 3.6 kgs and there is a cord in baby's neck. For these things she suggested an early induction in 39th week and she told that there might be a c section required for the complications but we will first try normal. At that point of time it was absolutely fine for me and I followed her suggestions. And she really guided and supported me till end and I had a normal delivery. I am grateful to be blessed with my little angel and we both are healthy. I really thank her for being with me in my whole journey.

I started consulting Meeta Mam from my 4th Month of pregnancy. I was a primi with Rh -ve blood group and husband Rh ve. In my double marker test there was one factor called Pappa and beta hcg which was low for me . In my anamoly scan it was detected that i am carrying a small baby (10th perct). I never had bp,sugar, thyroid no other health issue i was always helathy and had a normal weight, still i landed up complication of iugr, low afi and raised pi . It was Meeta Mam who came as a Angel like Doctor or a god in anonymous face, who from thestarting have guided me . Food medication exercise everything she cared like a mom and i followed her advice. Due to IUGR baby and low AFI ,High PI value in 33 weeks she suggested me to get Lungs maturity injection i got that . With her strict guidance and almighty blessing i prolonged my pregnancy to 37 weeks 4 days. But due to these complication she suggested me for C sec as it was a risky condition for baby as growth was already stopped.Like an angel she did my C section and i got my Baby girl safely on my hand without any complication or requirement of NICU though she weigh just 2kg . Dr.Poornima is one of the high professional doctor we have seen in Bangalore . She looked into complete medical history one by one and helped us to understand all our details. I already had 3 miscarriages and quite trashed with it. I decided to go ahead another time and this time also in 7th week bleeding started, really emotionally challenging and breakdown situation. We rush to the hospital and loose all hope but by god's grace that day first time we booked appointment of Poornima mam. She listened me very patiently and understood my previous history and accordingly started my treatment. She explained very well why particular medicine and injections needs to be taken - how it will help along with tests (which we understood was quite important to minimize the complication) since my pregnancy was a high risk pregnancy with many complications. During pregnancy term, I faced lots of issues in 5th month with my placenta being low lying. In 7 months, Jaundice symptoms started which affected my whole body to itchy all the time but mam did not recommend any unwanted medicine and handled it very naturally. Considering all situations and due to high-risk pregnancy, my delivery was planned for the C- section and it was due on 11th Jan’22 but my water ruptured in 35 week 5 days. Mam waited to get pain started if I can deliver normal and she tried her best and my planned C section turned into Normal delivery. We are blessed with a baby girl on 6th Dec'21 and with all healthy vitals condition post-delivery. NO NICU required (which we were scared off). All thanks to Poornima Mam *** ** **** * *** ****** ** *** God Bless

I was referred to Dr Meeta by Dr Manju Nair who treated me for repeated failure in pregnancy. Having been married for 9 long years somehow motherhood kept evading me and we reached a point when I had almost given up all hopes. Three times I conceived, but by 10th or 12th weeks I would miscarry. All doors and windows seemed shut. Finally we were referred to Dr Manju Nair at Cloud Nine Babs she ensured I succeeded getting pregnant with twins and referred us to Dr Meeta to take the pregnancy successfully forward. I still remember the first meeting with Dr Meeta. It was on 16 Mar 2020 with my first scan report. She literally surprised us with her overflowing energy and positivity. She instilled all the needed confidence in us and at every stage took the best care possible with her timely medications, counselling and advise. She was not just a doctor, but a great friend, philosopher and guide. My entire pregnancy was such a smooth journey under her care and practical approach to dealing with the entire 9 months. The last minute before delivery challenged our family like a demon in mask. As it was decided that we will need to go for C Section, everything was planned for 03 October 2020. As a protocol during this pandemic I had to get a covid test done and came the result as a boomerang. in spite of taking all precautions I tested positive and by 01st night my fluid levels went low and the babies had to be delivered on emergency. She took the best of all her efforts to ensure to get all arrangements done in cohesion with the hospital management and safely delivered my babies on 02nd October 2020 afternoon. She didn't stop with that but went and extra mile to get me moved to another hospital for covid management and entrusted my babies in the NICU under the care of Dr Ankur Rajavanshi as they were born late preterm at 36 weeks 5 days. It needs a kind heart and immense presence of mind to handle such challenges and my case is a clear indication of her dedication to her profession and her patients. I would strongly recommend Dr Meeta. She would reach me everyday to check on my health and also update me on how my babies were doingBeing under the care of Dr Meeta through your pregnancy means being safe. Thank you doctor...

We found Dr. Meeta's profile over internet when we were browsing through the gynaecologist list for our pregnancy. As per the review, we planned to visit her and post the visit we decided to continue with her.
She had a very positive aura around her which helped me throughout my pregnancy. She always made me very comfortable with her calmness and made sure all of my queries are answered with logical reasoning.
It was advised to me to have all types of food and keep no restriction on the same. Ofcourse, the food was supposed to be home cooked; mainly protein rich since it helps in the growth of baby weight.
I really liked how she has always been in favor of not taking unnecessary medicines and try to cure the issues by natural methods (i.e. home remedies).
Her whole staff members has been very supportive during my delivery. Each and every person made sure that I get the bestest care not only physically but mentally too.
In the LDR, the whole experience (had a vaginal/normal delivery) just felt like a magical one just because of her and her team!
How can I ever forget those words right after my last push 'Congratulations, it's a girl!'.
It was a very emotional moment for my husband and me. She gave us a few minutes with the baby to relish that moment which I can never thank her enough for.
The best thing was having my husband by my side throughout the delivery which was again supported by her. Huge thanks to her for this.
Generally, there are many restrictions on consuming all types of food right after the delivery for 1.5 months irrespective of the type of delivery one has had (which I feel is a myth, now). But, she advised me to have anything and everything healthy. I was also asked to start with walking so that the healing process gets faster.
And, it really did help me!
I'm still in touch with her for my post-natal care.
If I had to do all over again; I would do just because of the confidence and trust I have on her.
