However, I was not satisfied, nor I was given proper medication. I was misguided by a doctor here who works in a top hospital (I do not wish to name) last year. I am a post-menopausal woman, a few months ago I had heavy bleeding and discovered that I had an enlarged uterus with adenomyoma. Given my family history, it was suggested that I should get a laparoscopic hysterectomy done. It’s 23 days now since my operation, my scars are hardly visible; I feel fine and have begun leading a normal life (no lifting heavy weights of course). I had gone to her with a reference from my sister Dr. Vaishali for consultations w.r.t. infertility issues of my wife wherein Uterine Fibroid issues were also evaluated and it was decided to get rid of the same by surgical intervention.
