Majeedia Unani Hospital is a 100-bed AYUSH hospital specialising in the Unani system of medicine, run under the auspices of Jamia Hamdard in Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. It integrates traditional Unani medicine with modern medical science across promotive, preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative care, at affordable cost.The hospital was conceived as an integrated centre of higher learning and healthcare in Unani Tibb by the late Hakeem Abdul Hameed, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. It is a teaching hospital associated with the School of Unani Medical Education and Research (SUMER), and has been engaged in clinical research for over three decades.Its speciality services cover hepatitis, diabetic foot and non-healing ulcers, musculoskeletal disorders, skin diseases, and lifestyle-related conditions including hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidaemia, obesity and allergic conditions, alongside other chronic illnesses.
