Hello, I am Prabha Dattatreya Talekar, a resident of Mumbai. I went to my hometown Ratnagiri in September. There, I had a rickshaw accident and I got injured in my head and left leg. I needed five stitches on my head and the rickshaw fell on my leg, so my leg got injured more. I was in Civil Hospital Ratnagiri and then I came to KEM Hospital in Mumbai for further treatment, but my leg was not doing well. My head injury was cured but my leg was not getting better. At that time, my friend Rekha is working in Raheja Hospital. However, she told me to take another doctor's opinion and she told me to go to Dr. Praveen Shinde, who is a renowned and skilled surgeon.

I was sufferring from gaseous distension & chronic constipation past 6 months. With reference from one of my relative I visited Dr. Pravin Shinde Sir's Clinic. With immense experience in the field just by physical observation sir understood that I had some serious medical condition.

Sir told me to do few scans of abdomen. My reports were suggestive of sigmoid volvulus which required surgery for correction. As the word surgery pop up, I immediately became worried but Sir gave me courage and confidence. Sir explained me the whole operation sequence and reaffirm me that surgery will be smooth and fine.

Sir and his team @KEM hospital did my surgery and removed the impacted & dilated sigmoid colon without the need of Stoma care which itself is a very big achievement. This was only possible because of sir's knowledge and vast experience. Post surgery I was taken care off and with sir proper guidance I had a speedy recovery.

I am really grateful to Dr. Pravin Shinde Sir not just for surgery but for his continous support & guidance. Sir is a great human being and friendly person & has always addressed me as a friend. I highly recommend Dr. Pravin Shinde Sir.

Visit a surgeon!! It is scary, more so if it is for your son!! Like all Indian mother's I am very nitpicky about whose hands and care I will place my son's health.

I admit I am old school. Very critical. I believe 50% of your problem should be solved by just a visit to the doctor. The doctor should instill a confidence in you- that yes these are safe, sure and capable hands.

I vouch my mind was and is at peace that my son Rishabh is in the safe and capable hands of the ever smiling surgeon Dr. Pravin Shinde. He exudes positive vibes. With Dr. Shinde around one feels the unsaid words, " Main Hoon Na", and you can happily leave the patient in his care.

Dr. Shinde performed a broad based excision surgery on my son's foot, enquired about his well being, kept in constant touch, just like a family member would.

My son is recovering fast. God bless the doctor.

This review is for the Gallbladder surgery, My dad is 72 year old and he was facing problem with the Gallbladder stone, Initially when all the report came Mri and sonography, it was confirmed that there was stone in gallbladder, so surgery was required and we were not sure of any good surgeon. So our family dr suggested Dr Pravin Shinde for the surgery, we were scared because the name surgery itself put us on lots of questions, however when we first met Dr Pravin, he saw the report and he also confirmed surgery is required because there were multiple stone and the large stone we as of 9. MM, so Dr explained us all the process start from how it happens and how is the gallbladder function and how the surgery will happen and all my query was also answered. After the process he also suggested the hospital process where he want us to admit how the mediclaim process needs to be done. After the first appointment i was very cleared and i was sure we came to the right Dr. The surgery was successfully done and after the discharge my Dad is Fit and fine no problem he is facing after the surgery and the best part is the Dr is one phone call or Whatsapp away, he will support you during and after the process. The reason i am writing this review because there are lot of people who doesn't know about the good surgeon and with my personal experience you guys should meet him once if you are facing any Gallbladder issue.

I recently underwent an excision of a hidrocystoma cyst on my scalp under the care of Dr. Pravin Shinde on 27th November 2025. I had visited him a month prior, ****** ***** ** ******* **** ******** *** **** ***** ** *** **** ****** ** ** *** ******* ******* ****.

The procedure was done at S.L. Raheja Hospital, Mahim. The team at Raheja guided me smoothly through the admission process. Initially, my insurance was not approving a cashless claim, and at the last minute, I reached out to Dr. Pravin on WhatsApp to understand the issue. He kindly helped by drafting a short explanation of the procedure and its necessity. I truly appreciated his empathy and willingness to go out of his way to support me.

Post-operation, he did my dressing and helped me feel more confident, especially since the surgery required shaving a portion of my hair. He remained kind, patient, and friendly throughout the process. My parents were also very happy with how neatly and efficiently the surgery was done. The stitch removal was handled very smoothly as well.

Overall, I’m extremely grateful for his expertise, care, and supportive nature.

I had axillary lump from last few years for which I consulted to Dr. Pravin shinde sir he told me that he can operate and remove it but for the first time I got scared about operation and did not follow up with him but later on he gave me confidence about it through another patient’s history who was suffering from the same issue as mine

He is a very soft spoken doctor, very very down to earth even after being such a great and well known surgeon he has 0 attitude also post surgery he himself called me for follow up. He did my surgery very well no doubt also there is no scar left back. He does surgery with so much precision. Doctor’s like him a rare to find now-a-days. If you are planning any surgery with him go for it without any doubt. 👍🏻

Pravin sir he seriously understood my pain and recommended me for the normal surgery i got surgery done under him now am perfectly fine and have no issues

Guys please i would never suggest you all for lessor surgery in my case because this not at all successful. I would really recommend you guys to go for normal surgery.
