I wanted to share my experience in SAGE hospital, Malad west. Mumbai

************ *** ******** ******* ** *** **** ************* *** I feel extremely lucky to have met him. My best friend who underwent Hysterectomy at SAGE hospital, referred him.

Earlier I had been to couple of renowned & experienced Gynaecologists in Mumbai for my problems. They all advised surgery but I kept on delaying it for more than 2 years due to my phobia for doctors & needles. As a patient, I am not at all co-operative for any treatments. However, Dr. Sankpal handled me just like a baby. He explained symptoms, causes and treatment in detail. He understood my fear & helped me psychologically to prepare myself to take decision. He shared detailed plan for surgery and answered all my queries without forcing me to take hasty decision.

I underwent Laparoscopic Total Hysterectomy surgery on 19th August 2021. His magical & experienced hands handled a complex situation while operating and everything went smoothly as planned. He met my husband immediately after the surgery and informed outcome of the surgery. Post-surgery was the most difficult phase for me but doctor & staff handled me wonderfully. They took utmost care of me for next 3 critical days and helped me to manage my pain. Staff is very experienced, courteous and polite. They attended to all my requests and made me comfortable. They served nutritious meals (cooked in hospital kitchen) for me and my husband throughout my stay in hospital.

It was a great experience to get treated by Dr. Rajendra Sankpal in SAGE Hospital. I highly recommend SAGE hospital to anyone suffering from Gynaecological problems.

My wife had a complicated hysterectomy plus covid fear plus thyroid and BP. Were referred by a doctor friend as a great hand in laproscopy.

Dr sankhpal was straight to explain all pros and cons and also confident about performing the surgery.

We took the plunge.

The surgery was more complicated then expected but went of really well thanks to dr sankhpal and his team of anesthetic and other surgeons.

Important to mention the cleanliness of the mini hospital which works like a family, warmth, soothing music the whole day, home cooked food due to covid, reasonable billing considering the complications involved, perfect paperwork from the team for mediclaim (not further questions asked by insurance company and full claim settled within a month), post operative followups nd his personal attention to all the above in details.

Within a month i had referred him to a close friend whose young daughter had some complications which dr sankhpal eased out as compared to what other doctors had advised extreme.

We are more than happy to recommend dr sankhpal to anybody who has laproscopy in mind.

A good doctor, a down to earth doctor and a great human being is how i would sum it up.

I had to undergo hysterectomy. I had lot of apprehensions about going in for the surgery (this maybe a common feeling before any surgery). Although, this was all put away right from my first meeting with Dr Sankpal. He ensured that I understood each and every part of the process and also I got the understanding of why there was a need for the surgery. Throughout the time he was super calm and composed answering all my doubts (however silly they were). This definitely helped me to put my anxiety to rest. With his vast experience he understands the patients really well. Now to top it all, the hospital has an amazing infrastructure with the state of the art equipments which shows how the doctor has put in efforts to give the best to his patients. All this is very well supported by all the staff members. Each and everyone takes care of you and gives you the best possible comfort. The staff members are always there around to help you and serve you with whatever you need. The well trained and helpful staff adds on to the whole experience in a remarkable way. I would like to put this across to anyone out there, do not think twice about going in for hysterectomy. If it is needed, get it done and Sage is a great hospital and you will be in good hands of Dr Sankpal.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cyst around March’20. Initially my surgery was scheduled at one of the renowned hospitals in Mumbai.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic my surgery was kept on hold by the hospital. After a wait of three months we were informed to get the surgery done from a local or tertiary hospital. We were lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr. Sankpal who with his plethora of experience, expertise and knowledge in this field explained us about the actual issue in a very easy to understand words. The facilities at the hospital are world class and the environment is very positive. The staff here is also very supportive and deals with the patients with a very positive and caring attitude.
