Visiting Guidelines for ICU?

Visiting Hours: Evening - 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm. For all ward patients & ICU patients. Only TWO Patient Attendant Passes will be issued during entire stay of patient. Only one attendant is permitted in hospital premises. Other attendant to wait in visitors waiting area near IN Gate. NO attendant will be allowed to stay with patient at bedside in ICU. Passes are issued WITHOUT ANY DEPOSIT FEE 100 will be charged for loss of each pass. Please return the attendant pass at the time of discharge at IPD billing. Children Below 12 years of age are not allowed inside hospital. Outside food, medicines, flowers, bedding, blankets are not allowed in hospital premises. For single & twin sharing room in WARDS, Only ONE attendant is allowed to stay with patient. NO photography is allowed in hospital premises. Visitors/ Attendant under influence of ALCOHOL will not be permitted entry in hospital premises. Hospital Management will not be responsible for loss of any personal belonging (mobile, cash, jewellery etc.) of patient, attendant or any visitor.

What is the Admission Process?

For Cash Paying Patient: Patient can get admit in any of the bed category available in the hospital and preferred by patient. Bed reservation can be done priorly or at the time of admission by visiting the admission department on ground floor. For TPA/Corporate/Insurance Patients (Planned Admission) prior approval has to be taken from respective company by filling pre-authorization form in Corporate Cell Department located at ground floor in annexure 2 building near accident and emergency. In case of emergency pre-authorization can be filled within 24hrs of admission. At present Cashless facility for GIPSA Insurance Companies, CGHS and Apollo Munich Health Insurance is not available in the hospital.

Can a family member spend a night with the Patient? Will this be at an extra cost?

For patient`s in ward as per hospital policy, Patient Attendant/Relative should be available with the patient 24x7 bedside. Waiting Area facility is available for ICU Patient Relatives. No charges for accommodation unless room is retained by Attendant/Relatives of ICU Patient. Charges will be applicable for meal services or any other services availed by Patient Attendant/Relative in the hospital.
