Visited For Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment

Three and a half years ago, Rheumatoid Arthritis made my wife petrified and desperate. My son searched for one of the best rheumatologists in Mumbai on Google and found Dr. Shashank Akerkar. Not only we were surprised by the improvements that started from the 3rd appointment, but we were also surprised to see that the doctor knew her pain level better than her (despite her exaggeration about the pain, even though it wasn’t like the others). Based on proper investigation, he started treatment immediately. His medication and advice benefited her and her normal life resumed and her health is now normal.

Dr. Akerkar is very punctual. The way he listens to the patient's problem is really appreciated. He advises the patients to perform only the necessary tests. His clinic is always crowded due to his excellent treatment.

He is an overall pleasant personality with ********* ********* *** commitment.

We think he is a great Rheumatologist and helps to overcome the disorder as soon as possible. We were so glad that we went to the right doctor and we would definitely recommend him to anyone with similar problems.

Suryaprakash Bhandari, *** ****** *** *** ** ****** ****** **My mother aged 80 is being treated by Dr. Bhandari as she has ERCP done in Gastrocare clinic, JN Road, MULUND.about 3 years back for Common Bile Duct blockage. We had visited best of the hospitals in Mumbai********** ****** ********* for the treatment. But it was by God's grace that we luckily came across Dr. Bhandari. Dr. Bhandari diagnosed the illness and swiftly carried out ERCP which saved her life and she has regained her health. Recently in early Fab. she got severe vomiting and stomach pain .So again we approached Dr. Bhandari and he diagnosed her of having Food pipe blockage and advised us to get her undergo immediate surgery. The surgery was successful and in 2 days my mother got rid of all her stomach related issues. Now, she is able to have her food comfortably. Despite the fact that we had a 2D echo report which was just 3 days old, she did another 2D echo and charged us 1000Rs extra for the 2d echo she did. I had undergone Laparoscopic hernia plasty under Dr.JITEN CHOWDRY who is very simple, patient friendly and a good listner. I got 50% relief after seeing his smile and personal attention after surgery on same day. SURGERY done on 8th Feb 21 and discharged on 9th Feb 21 afternoon. Post surgery care by Nurses, other staff at Godrej Memorial Hospital, Vikhroli was an exiting experience. Very clean, friendly house keeping staff & attentive TPA eased my stay comfortable. Again all praises to God and Dr.Jithen Chowdry and his exellent team. I reccommend Dr. Jiten Chowdry and Godrej Hospital as very safe in Covid Pandemic situation.
