Many a times when we look for a doctor to get ourselves treated, we often look at their credentials, years of experience, etc. However, in most cases, at least in my experience, while all these are certainly essential, even more important and what actually helps us and heal us is the intention of the doctor and the attention that s/he gives you. The human body is not a machine and cannot be treated as such, using the same formula and same technique for each person for the same issue. Each human is unique and so are the issues being dealt with. And it is only a doctor with the actual intention of helping a patient who can spot the exact nature of the problem and customize the healing process based on the unique nature of the issue as well as the unique aspects of the patient. If you are treated like just another patient or like a check box to be ticked, then it is unlikely that the treatment would benefit you. However, if you are treated like a unique individual and the doctor actually takes out time to not only understand you, but your problems as well as your expectations and only then tailor make a solution for you, will you actually heal and benefit from the treatment itself. And this is where Dr. Vrushni steps is. Her unique ability to treat a patient like a human being and not a machine or an object with symptoms is what sets her apart. What she brings to the table is an empathetic approach and her medical expertise fused with a spiritual connection that achieves the right mix that end up in fantastic results.

I too, went to her, after visiting a lot of famous well known doctors, all of whom treated me like another person with the same problems and applied the same approach and handed me a bill with very little regard of whether or not it benefitted me or if there were any results. How they earned their name, I do not know. Publicity, fancy offices and awards now days are circumspect and should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, Dr. Vrushni was a pleasant change and in the first meeting itself helped me realise the nature of my issues in a more human way than any other doctor before her had. She set realistic expectations for me and along with her expert medical advice also imbibed in me the power of positive thinking, faith, belief as well as self care no matter the outcome. I strongly believe all these worked wonders and were far more effective than the mechanical and robotic procedures suggested by the 'famous' doctors. Not only have I achieved positive results, more than I hoped for, I have also learned the importance of these very often overlooked aspects. Medical science and technology are indeed advanced fields and offer many solutions, but applied in a mechanical robotic way, as is the style of many a doctors, do not produce results. However, Dr. Vrushni goes above and beyond just application of medical solutions and holds your hand throughout the way which adds to the healing and always gives positive results. Her soft, polite and encouraging style makes you also internally joyful aiding the entire process. She gives a multitude of options and recommendations and gives you total freedom to control the entire treatment. She is never forceful and makes a tough session much easier to bear. My mother was having knee pain since last seven years. In last two years we consulted orthopedic doctors and it was suggested to undergo knee replacement in both knees. Like many would do, my mother also kept contemplating replacement option as it is not very easy decision to undergo medical procedures. After three months meeting Dr. Sanjeev Jain my mother was all set and prepared for knee replacement. Again Dr. Sanjeev Jain helped us on decision making to undergo both legs for knee replacement. It helps patient and their family to go through the entire treatment, physiotherapy and healing process in one go rather than splitting it for two different phases. We strongly believed in his decision as it demonstrated his courage, expertise & commitment and his practical & compassionate approach for patient and family.

It took us 5 days of hospitalization, three months of physiotherapy and now my mother does all suggested exercise by herself. My mother is extremely pleased with his expertise, competence and experience and the subsequent outcome in both of knees. She feels much better now and appreciates the mobility and especially we as family love to see her enjoy a satisfying and pain- free life.

I am writing on behalf of my sister Kumud Bhatia, 58 years old & a long time Rheumatoid Arthritis patient.

For almost a decade, Kumud had deformed, painful knee joints & as a result restricted movement. She suffered a fall in September 2019 & required a Total Hip Replacement (THR). The thought of a surgery was terribly scary but we were lucky to have Dr Sanjeev Jain & his team handling it at L H Hiranandani Hospital, Powai. It was most organized, process focused & above all had attention to every little detail.

Besides the complex surgery, Dr Jain handled our fears to ensure Kumud was emotionally strong enough & prepared to deal with the procedure & also the post-operative care required. He did this by keeping communication lines open – clearly explaining the damage, procedure required, post care required, what to expect & above all thoroughly, patiently answering all of our questions. He patiently listened to what we were saying, our concerns & it is a rare quality.

Despite a successful THR, Kumud’s knee joint degeneration & deformity would not allow her to walk comfortably. But she was quite adamant about not doing more corrective surgery. It took several meetings with Dr Jain to give her the confidence to have a Total Knee Replacement (TKR) on both knees & assuage the fears she had on whether she would be able to walk independently. Every time, he took the time to talk to Kumud & clear doubts, repeatedly when necessary, because he genuinely believed a corrective surgery would make her more independent & comfortable. Because of years of pain, Kumud had restricted activity levels & a feeling of hopelessness. He really believed that corrective surgery would allow her to realize her potential so much better – very few medical professionals invest this much time & effort in the emotional wellbeing of their patients.

I am utterly disappointed with Dr. Sanjeev Ahuja's behavior during our recent visit to LH Hiranandani Hospital. While he may possess medical competence, his attitude towards patients is abysmal and unacceptable.

My family visited him because our son was unwell, hoping for compassion and professional courtesy. Instead, Dr. Ahuja greeted us with rudeness unnecessarily. He completely lacks empathy and does not understand how to communicate respectfully with concerned parents.

During our visit, rather than offering reassurance or even basic human courtesy, Dr. Ahuja shouted at us to return in the evening. It was as if our son's illness inconvenienced him. This callous behavior is inexcusable, especially in a healthcare setting where sensitivity and understanding should be paramount.*** ******** **** ** *********** ******** ** ******* *** ***** **** ****** ******** ** ******* ************* *** ******** It is appalling that a doctor in such a prestigious institution can treat patients and their families with such disrespect* *** ********** *** ****** ** *** **** *** ******* ********* leaving us deeply disheartened and considering seeking medical care elsewhere.

I'm Rajgopal Nair 68 years of age and quite a while Arthritis patient. I had agonizing knee joints and as a result had confined development. I had lost my first baby and with the loss i lost all hopes and when i went to some local doctor i was told i had PCOD's and that it will be difficult for me to concieve again. For one year i struggled to get pregnant but dint work, finally i was about to loose the battle when all of a sudden one day my pregnancy test was positive. I went to the same local doctor and he said i was not pregnant. But I was sure I was pregnant. Thought of leaving a detailed review as there’s a lot to say about Dr. Anita Soni – hope its helpful to anyone who is planning to visit (and I hope you all who read this please do visit Dr. Anita Soni). We have been consulting by Dr. Soni for last 8 years and she has been more than a doctor in real sense for our family. Our first son was born in 2014. We reached Dr. Soni during the end of 6 months of pregnancy after visiting multiple local and larger hospitals in Thane and Mumbai. At 6 months we were told by one of the biggest hospitals in Mumbai (specializing in only Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology) that baby needs to be delivered) done immediately which India was probably not prepared in 2014. There were extreme complications and we reached Dr. Soni with the hope that she will do some wonders and she did more than anyone can even imagine during such a situation. With being asked to deliver in 6 months (that too C-section) to a normal delivery after full term (39 weeks) can only be achieved by Dr. Anita Soni. She is God sent to us. Only doctor that I know of pushes for a normal delivery – cares for every patient and babies like their family. My elder one is 8 and by god’s and Dr. Soni’s grace he is heartly and healthy. Since our treatment by Dr. Soni in 2014, my entire family, all my friends visit only Dr. Anita Soni and I can confidently say on behalf of everyone in my friends and family who got treated by Dr. Soni that every single family is extremely happy and feel exactly as I do. Our second baby got delivered by Dr. Soni in November 2022. Throughout the pregnancy, she guided us like a mentor with her expertise. While, Dr. Soni had met with an accident a few days prior to the day we got admitted – she has a fracture in the leg, broken ribs and face injury and yet she gave us more time than any other Doctor would ever do. While we were worried on who will do the delivery, Dr. Soni was there with us throughout and she did a normal delivery even as this time there were challenges and any other doctor would have lost the patience, Dr. Soni supported us and got the normal delivery done. I started my journey with Dr Vrushni about 2 years back when my Gynac redirected me to her.

Dr. Vrushni started both my husband and me with some multi vitamins for a few months. She started our first IUI cycle once she felt we were ready to start. Her methods are very thorough. She took time to understand how my body reacted to certain medications, how my cycles were, how slow or fast my ovaries would respond to triggering medications. The best part about going to her was that she took time to provide consultation. She ensured both my husband and I understood what the procedure would entail, gave us guidance not just at a medical/technical level but also at an emotional and human level. We tried a few IUI cycles which did not get us any results.

We decided it was time to take a step further and try an IVF cycle. Dr. Vrushni was nothing but supportive in the time we would need to prepare ourselves for the session. She spent multiple consultation sessions explaining to us what it would ential - the procedure, the science behind it, the financial aspects, addressing all our questions patiently. ImOne thing that really helped me was a positive attitude. And Dr Vrushni really stressed upon this. Positivity is something she reflects in her personality as well and encourages her patients to do the same. IVF starts with the induction of ovulation with the help of some medications and injections. Once the desired size of the egg is reached an extraction process takes place where the eggs are extracted from the ovaries. This procedure is done under anesthesia and there is a bit of bloating and discomfort one feels for a day or 2 after the procedure. I remember having severe constipation and swollen feet a day after the procedure and reaching out to Dr Vrushni in a state of panic. She guided me with what needed to be done and I was back to normal in a 2 days. From the total eggs extracted, nearly 50% did not reach day 3 and we decided to freeze the eggs on day 3 as my hormone levels shot up and I was not ready for a transfer. We decided to take a break from the procedure and try after 2 months. I eventually ended up taking 3 months but I guess the best decision I took right after the extraction was to get myself back in shape. And what I mean by shape is not just losing weight by any means, but losing weight in a healthy, sustainable way. Eventually after 3 months I felt confident to re-start my IVF journey. Once the cycle started, Dr Vrushni put me on a few medications to prepare my body for the transfer. In 14 days we were ready to transfer the embryos. It was a 15-30 min procedure to transfer the eggs supported by medications in the following days and a 2 week long wait to perform a blood test that would eventually tell us the outcome. We were fortunate and here I am at 14 weeks today. Hoping for the best in the coming days! Thanks to Dr Vrushni in the support she has provided throughout this journey. Would definitely recommend her!
