Nowadays, hair fall is most common complaint in men and women. It has started presenting itself in the younger generation (as young as age 16,) due to improper diet and stress. Hair fall can be reduced by some extent by correcting diet and adding some nutritious food like:

  1. Eat protein in adequate quantity in the form of sprouts, pulses, soya products, egg and fish.
  2. For vegetarians, raisin and dates are a must for fulfillment of vitamin B12 and Iron deficiency. Lack of these causes acute hair fall. 
  3. Flax seed for Omega 3. 
  4. Must use non-chemical, ultra mild shampoo for cleansing. 
  5. Oiling should be done in hair before cleaning or applied overnight and washed next day morning.
