Tips for Healthy hair:
- Wash oily hair more frequently.
- Do not use too much oil. Use any vegetable/mineral oil before shampooing, do not keep oil on scalp for more than 24 hours. (Olive oil is good)
- Concentrate shampoo on the scalp.
- Use conditioner after every shampoo. Choose a shampoo and conditioner formulated specifically for your hair type.
- Use a wide toothed comb on wet hair so that the hair is not stretched and damaged.
- Use medicated hair dyes (PPD free, Ammonia free).
- Avoid use of hair dryer, straightener, curler or any salon hair treatment as much as possible.
- Have healthy protein diet: nuts, pulses, soy products, eggs.
- Omega 3 fatty acids plays key role in nourishment of hair and skin : walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, salmon, tuna.
- Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables
