Sharp cusp or rough filling on the teeth near the ulcerated area Friction while chewing, especially during sleep Nutritional deficiencies like Vitamin B-complex deficiency In rare cases, stress or night-time teeth grinding (bruxism) can also contribute
Next Steps
Apply a medicated gel like Dologel-CT or Kenacort 2–3 times daily using a clean finger. Avoid swallowing. Avoid spicy, hot, or acidic foods that may delay healing. Take a B-complex supplement once daily for 5–7 days. Warm saline rinses (lukewarm water + pinch of salt) 2–3 times a day can help reduce inflammation and aid healing. Visit a dentist in person to: Check for sharp tooth edges or fillings Smoothen the area if needed Confirm that it’s a traumatic ulcer and not something else
Health Tips
If the ulcer does not improve in 10–15 days, or increases in size, further evaluation might be required to rule out rare causes. Please avoid long-term self-medication without a dental check-up.

Health Tips
Aviod spicy food, tobacco smoking etc as they can irritate the area and cause burning sensation.
