2-3 kilo of weight loss per month is advisable. So you should lose 8 kg weight, in around 2.5-3 months. But it is always advisable to lose weight with balanced diet and some exercise.
Next Steps
Consult a qualified Dietician, do not try to follow diet on your own
Health Tips
After weight reduction, weight maintenance is equally important. Weight lost with exercising along with diet is easily maintained

Hi, Scientific weight loss is losing 100 grams/day i.e upto 2.5-3 Kgs a month. Thus about 3-4 months time would be needed to lose 8 Kgs in a healthy way.
