I have seen many such vitamin d deficient cases. Your vitamins d is around 12. In this case, I recommend you to take vit d 6lakh iu iv injection and then supplement from next month onwards. Taking supplements orally will take time.

: "Your Vitamin D level of 12.9 ng/mL is indeed low, as normal levels typically range between 20-50 ng/mL. The treatment you’re taking (Uprise D3 60k once a week for two months) is appropriate to help raise your Vitamin D levels. Regarding calcium supplements, it’s important to note that Vitamin D plays a key role in calcium absorption, and in cases of long-term Vitamin D deficiency, ensuring adequate calcium intake is crucial for bone health. If your diet is already rich in calcium (including foods like dairy, leafy greens, and almonds), you may not need a supplement. However, if you aren’t getting enough calcium from your diet, adding a supplement may be beneficial. For a more personalized approach and to evaluate your calcium needs properly, I would recommend consulting with me for a detailed assessment. Feel free to reach out via WhatsApp on eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two for further advice and treatment options."

Your Vitamin D level of 12.9 ng/mL is quite low (normal range: 20-50 ng/mL), and it's great that you've started Uprise D3 as prescribed to boost your levels. Do You Need Calcium Supplements? Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, so in cases of long-term Vitamin D deficiency, it’s often recommended to ensure adequate calcium intake to support bone health. However, whether you need a calcium supplement depends on your diet and calcium levels. If you're getting enough calcium from your food (e.g., dairy products, leafy greens, almonds), a supplement may not be necessary.
Next Steps
Discuss with your doctor: They can evaluate your calcium levels through a simple blood test to see if supplementation is needed. Continue taking Uprise D3 as prescribed and ensure you're eating calcium-rich foods. If you experience symptoms like muscle cramps, bone pain, or weakness, consult your doctor for further evaluation. Let me know if you have any other concerns!
