Vitamin d def.
I am 23 years old. I had a stomach ulcer in 2023 and around the same time my vitamin D level was low (19 ng/mL). I took Vitamin D3 60,000 IU capsules once a week for 12 weeks. After taking the last capsule I started urinating frequently about an hour later and this continued for around 2 days so I stopped taking Vitamin D3. Now I feel that my vitamin D may be low again. Could you please advise me on how I should safely correct my vitamin D level? What is the ideal 25(OH)D level for someone my age and should I get my vitamin D and calcium levels checked before restarting supplementation?

Frequent urination after a vitamin D3 course can sometimes point to a calcium imbalance, so it's worth having this checked before you restart any supplement.
Next Steps
Get your vitamin D and calcium levels tested again, and share both with a doctor before starting a new dose.
Health Tips
Please don't repeat a high-dose vitamin D3 course on your own until your levels are rechecked.

Frequent urination may or may not be related to the vit d supplementation. So while you check your vit D and serum calcium levels, you should get your kidney function test also checked. Ideal levels of 25 oh d is 50-80 ng/ml… according to your history, you checked it last in 2023… vit d levels can change a lot in this time period.
