Firstly need to ensure that your symptoms are only due to vit b12 def and not another cause.
It's common to have vit b12 def and its not necessarily the cause of your symptoms
When we supplement someone, we also give folic acid. I hope you are taking that too
If your symptoms don't settle after a month, you need evaluation

The numbness that you are experiencing is not due to injection but it is due to deficiency of vit b12 .
Since you are getting injections so you must have a moderate to severe deficiency of vitb12 , but don’t worry it will improve with time
Just treat your b12 deficiency, after injections you will be shifted to oral supplements

See, vit b12 ( cyanocobalamin) injection is for suppliments of your vit b12 which were deplete from your body
In general like ...
Total 10 injection will cover
1) u will get 10 injection on alternate day on your buttocks, after that u will get injection for next 5 week ( once a week)
After that if still your vit b12 is down then oral suppliments will start after injections
