Doctor, six months ago, my Vitamin B12 level was 147 pg/mL. After taking six Methylcobalamin injections, my Vitamin B12 level has increased to 283 pg/mL.
If I drink 200 ml of warm milk every day, will it help increase my Vitamin B12 level to 300 pg/mL or above?
Is drinking 200 ml of milk daily sufficient to maintain and improve my Vitamin B12 levels, or do I need any further supplementation or treatment?
Please guide me.

Milk alone will not help you. Take other vit. B12 rich foods like yoghurt, cheese, fortified cereals, berries, nuts, eggs, poultry
Get b12 levels checked after a month, if levels are not optimum, start oral supplements.
Hello
Try adding dairy products like curd, paneer, cheese etc
And if you are non vegetarian try adding eggs , fish, chicken , meat ( liver is great source)
Also as you have taken injectables that means your doctor is of the opinion that you were deficient due to poor absorption of it.
Next Steps
I would suggest to take another follow up test to check after stopping injectables are you still maintaining the level.

If you eat non-vegetarian you should it meat, as it's a primary source for vitamin B12.
If you are vegetarian eat green vegetables and have to take supplements
Next Steps
For a detailed consultation please book an appointment with me on Practo
Taking vit B12 rich food along with milk and supplements as per prescription is helpful.
Dairy products, fish - sea food, eggs and chicken
Take tablet/injection temporarily as prescribed along with proper diet
Take test after a month at valid lab
Health Tips
Coffee and tea can interfere with B12 absorption, so it’s best to avoid during the meals.
Milk alone is unlikely to take your B12 from 283 to 300 or beyond in any predictable way. Milk carries only a modest amount of B12, and how well it's absorbed depends on more than just how much you drink.
Next Steps
Keep eating other B12-rich foods like eggs, fish and dairy, and ask your doctor whether a maintenance tablet is worth starting now that the injections have raised your level partway.
Health Tips
Get your B12 rechecked in a few months rather than assuming milk alone will close the gap.
