Dear Patient, Swelling near the anus for 2 days is usually due to anal fissure, hemorrhoid, or mild local infection, often triggered by dietary changes, constipation, or irritation. What you should do - Keep the area clean and dry; wash gently with water after bowel movements - Increase fiber intake (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) and drink plenty of water to soften stool - Avoid straining during bowel movements - Apply mild topical ointments for pain or swelling if needed (like local anesthetic or anti-hemorrhoid cream) - Take warm sitz baths 2–3 times a day for relief Consult me urgently - Severe pain or swelling - Bleeding that is more than a few drops or persistent - Fever or pus discharge - If swelling does not improve in 3–5 days For further guidance and personalized treatment you may consult me on Practo anytime.

Small swelling near the anus is most likely due to piles from constipation/straining, especially after diet change.
Next Steps
Advice: • Drink plenty of water & eat fiber-rich food • Avoid straining & spicy/oily food • Warm sitz bath 10–15 min, 2–3 times daily • Lactulose at night if stools are hard • Apply hemorrhoid ointment for local relief • Paracetamol if pain
Health Tips
Seek medical care if: severe pain, fever, bleeding, pus discharge, or no improvement in 5–7 days.

Hey can you elaborate your symptoms. Is it painful? Blood in your faeces or colour change?
Next Steps
The best advice is to consult a general surgeon. In the meantime I would advise you to eat less fatty food and more fibre diet with plenty of water. If you have difficulty in motion, try Syp Looz(Lactulose) 10ml Two times a day. But I highly suggest you to consult a general surgeon. Have a pleasant day.
