Slip disc near neck
Hi, Recently i got to know i have slip disc problem near my neck which is troubling me to do any activities with my left hand and shoulder..an orthopedic has suggested for physiotherapy ..?so i wanted to know can I do the therapy by myself or i need to do it in hospital...as am not in metro city i don't have physiotherapist here...so nurse is the one who will be helping us to do..and am quite scared to do as per her instructions.

Hello ma'am, To answer your question, yes u need to consult a physiotherapist. You can either visit a nearby clinic or a hospital. If facility not available, a physio can do teleconsultation for you.

Hi Only physiotherapist can help you, nurse will not treat you for this cause But yes some home care exercises you can do at home go to youtube and search exercise for cervical disc bulge and cervical neural mobilisation exercise it will help you. Do hot water fermentation of neck and shoulder twice or thrice a day, Avoid forward bending of neck

U need to consult physiotherapist immediately and take treatment to relieve the pain and other symptoms because physiotherapy is only cure in most of slip disc cases...

A proper diagnosis with condition from an experienced physiotherapist is crucial. Once diagnosed and treated they could give you home based exercises. However somesort of regular supervision is always better

U can't do treatment of urself.u have to visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and take electrical modalities to reduce pain. After reducing pain u should start doing isometric exercises to ur neck and maintain proper posture and ergonomics
