Mode of Therapy or treatment depends on the severity of the condition. First go for physiotherapy and pain medications, if it unable to reduce your problem then go to orthopaedic surgeon for further treatment. Proper physiotherapy do wonder in case of PIVD , but sometimes it is not work due to many factors.
