One year is a long time, you are a management professional there must be more computer work. If not coming to your hands it is fine, this could be cervicoscapular myalgia. Read about work ergonomics, that would be helpful. Besides this do stretching for the neck and shoulder region.
Next Steps
Propr assessment would be better if you dont get relief after stretching exercises.
Health Tips
Neck stretching, moist heat compresssion
