Pain at the back of my neck
I am IT employee who sits with system throughout the day. Before lockdown: I used to go to office. I used to get pain in my shoulder sometimes but that won't last for more than a day. After Lockdown: I am working from home. I started getting pain at the back of my neck. Its there for more than a month. The pain worsens when I ride my bike. I applied several pain relief oils but still then the pain is there. I think the pain is due to my wrong sitting posture. Attached my work setup in home as well. Kindly advise me on what's wrong in this table and chair and how I can overcome this pain.

Hello Sir, If you have neck pain,you want to get rid of it as soon as you can. One of the best way to do that is through excercise. Core excercise can help your neck pain.your core is your abdomen, back and buttecks. If your core is strong and your holding your head upright as much as possible, your neck won't have to work as harder Thank you!

Your back and neck should be in straight neutral position.. shoulder should be down and back. keep font size big .. if u have to come forward to read it.. Get up and Move around every 45 minutes.. Do relaxation exs and neck movements twice a day...

As you said it is because of your posture the pain got aggrevated. You should change your table and chair. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should give hot water fomentation for 15-20 minutes twice a day. You should do neck stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance.

Hi As you have mentioned here that suffering from neck pain , but you are using such type of chair may aggravate problem so first correct your posture , and position, while sitting continuos force on spine creates problem. Due to which your neck and shoulder also involved and whole kinesis of body get hampered .
