Severe stomach infection
He is going through a severe stomach infection, having loose motion and frequently going to washroom, also he is going through continuous hiccups.He is having ORS from last evening but feeling very weak. Also has taken some medicines for this issue. Kindly guide us how to stop these hiccups and also improve the situation. It seems like food poisoning as his wife is facing the same. The patient also has Parkinsons decease.

As the patient is elderly with Parkinson’s disease, pl do not self medicate.as it can harm the patient. Pl take them to hospital and get an assessment done .

Meanwhile give ORS , plenty of fluids, coconut water and bland diet .

Take him to the hospital and give IV fluids.Do kidney function tests.if all ok some anti emetic injection and MuCaine gel might help in the hospital setting
