Firstly get an x-ray done madam...root canal may not be required if the cavity is not deep and if it does not involve the pulp...If root canal treatment is indicated after taking an x-ray, try getting an appointment with an Endodontist (root canal specialist). Charges of RCT(Root Canal Treatment) would vary based on the different aids used for the procedure...use of an endodontic microscope, endoactivator irrigation system, rubber dam etc. would increase the cost of RCT..
Next Steps
Take an x-ray for the involved tooth and if required take an appointment with the Endodontist for RCT.
The root canal charges usually vary from 2500 to 7000 depending on clinic to clinic and doctor to doctor. You can enquire that with the nearest dentist who is a specialist. There are some root canal specialists known as endodontist. So you can book your appointment with any of the endodontists locates in your area.

its not about the cost ,its about the right treatment planning n executing with great hygeine. at times many teeth not necessarily require RCT .
