Hi sir it seems like you had a lock jaw ( based on history given) .You need to visit a dentist and get it treated properly to improve your mouth opening. Do you have any pain while mouth opening because your doctor prescribed a pain medication.Take a opg to assess the TMJ or any other reasons. You need mouth opening exercises for better opening.
Next Steps
Visit the nearby dentist
Try to open and close slowly your mouth (full fledged) 5 times daily ( morning, afternoon, evening)
Health Tips
Don't delay the process

For care from your side you can use cold compression for next 2 days and then moderate warm compression along with taking care of your oral health - rinse off with water after every meal
And visit the doctor after you complete your medication dose.

1. Try opening your mouth and hold it till 5-10secs
2. Gently massage with two finger in front of the ear region
3. Try to balloon and blow air out
4. Hold your chin and exercise opening your mouth against pressure
5. Do not try to open your mouth wide
6. Avoid hard food
Health Tips
