Can use Regestrone tablet after mom's Breastfeeding 1.5 year child...my periods is irregular so I take regestrone tablet...eny problem for child? Eny risk for child

In some cases the yield of milk may decrease. Apart from that there is no problem. Your child is one and a half years old. Your periods are irregular. There are chances that you may conceive and may not know for a few months that you are pregnant. To avoid that situation it is better to get an Intrauterine device (Copper T) inserted. Then you will not become pregnant. You will not be bothered whether you get your periods or not. And you will not have to take Regesterone.

Hi Regestrone tablets doesn't effect the child. But said and done you have take hormonal pills only under doctor advice Ruleout causes for irregular periods

If the purpose for which you want to take this medicine is irregular periods This may not help This is not going to risk the child But first you need investigations to find out the reason for the irregularity and then you can be treated accordingly
