Red rashes in cheeks
I have two impacted third molars inside the gums, mesioangularly placed. But iam Often getting red rash/ trauma marks at the front of my inside cheeks. Got myself checked physically too , never got a satisfactory answer or solution! My question is does or can impaction affect the soft tissue of cheeks? If yes how? The marks/ redness/ irritation go off in 1/2 days but why is it happening? No sharp edges/ no burning, just redness and roughness in cheeks and little irritation

Yes there might be cheekbite due to erupting or partially erupted wisdom tooth. It`s better to go for extraction of wisdom tooth. Kindly attach photograph and OPG.

Hi.. Yes impacted wisdom teeth lead to cheek bite especially if they are mesioangular then there will be an altered bite (opening and closing mouth).
Next Steps
If the cheek bite or rashes is too frequent then you better go for the removal of a wisdom tooth. Because cheek bite for long period is harmful.

it is because every time you chew your food your cheek comes in contact with the teeth causing irritation resulting in redness. most often seen in cases with impacted molars, malaligned teeth, and sharp edges. you should consider getting your wisdom tooth removal done if it is constantly causing trouble.

Hi mam/Sir Wisdom tooth or Impacted molar is some extra tooth which doesn't have any functional use, also there will be no space for the teeth to erupt fully that's why it's creating pain and discomfort and gum infections around the teeth...so it's better to extract the impacted molar as soon as possible..
