Hello doc,
I and my wife (both aged 31) are planning to start taking fish oil tabs(cod liver oil) as supplement. Do we need any prescription for that? We have in general good health without any known conditions. Importantly, what's the recommended dosage of this tabs.
Thank you.

Yes you need prescription for that and first need your blood report for any recommendations. If you don’t have vitamin D deficiency please don’t take unless supplement because sun exposure is a good sources of vitamin D and maintain healthy diet . Needs more information about you and your wife then will suggest you in a better way.
Hi
You can surely take cod liver capsules as it has lot of health benefits. But first get all your blood test done and see you having any deficiency or not.
You have mentioned in the question you are not having any medical issue but please confirm it with blood reports.
And meet doctor and get medicine prescribed by doctor ..usually dosage is 1 or 2 tablets once a day

Dont take unless You are deficient in any particular vitamins.
Instead take natural sources of Omega3 fatty acid like walnut, flax seeds only this will not help with this take balance diet + regular exercise then you can maintain your health.
