Although she need a variety of nutrients all through her pregnancy to keep herself and baby healthy. There are few nutrients which are particularly important for baby's development in first trimester. The most important nutrients she need during first trimester are folic acid, iron, vitamin B6. Folate sources e.g. dark green leafy vegetables, tomato, orange and folic acid supplements. Iron is essential to make healthy red blood cells that carry oxygen around your body. Not having enough iron can leave her tired and breathless so its important to include iron rich food e.g. meat, eggs, beans, lentils etc. Morning sickness might leave her feeling queasy and unable to eat much. So vitamin B6 might help to ease nausea e.g. include walnuts, banana, sunflower seeds, potato, sweet potato etc. Also take 2-3 cups of milk or curd or 2 servings of paneer. kindly contact us for customized diet plan.
