Ongoing fever
My son 23 years old having sour throat since Saturday morning with low grade fever. Started Azee 500mg once a day as he was having pain in throat while swallowing. Sunday evening fever was 101.3 gave him Dolo 650. Toady Monday morning fever was 103.8 again Dolo 650 given at 6AM but fever only went down to 101 3 at 12 in the noon. Again given Dolo 650 at 1 PM. Now the fever is 102.3 at 5 PM. Already has taken Azee 500mg om Saturday and Sunday. Please suggest what to do.

Betadine gargle add 1ml solution in hot to warm water gargle it before meals two times. Cefexim 200 two times after food for five.
Zerodol sp3 times a day after food for five days.
Montek lc one at night for five days.

I understand your concern. From your description, your son has been having a sore throat with fever that has now persisted for 2–3 days and is spiking up to 103.8°F despite starting azithromycin (Azee 500) and giving paracetamol (Dolo 650).
High-grade fever not settling with antipyretics(dolo 650), especially beyond 48 hours of antibiotics, suggests that we need to reassess the diagnosis and treatment plan. This could be a severe bacterial throat infection, tonsillitis, or even a viral illness that won’t respond to azithromycin. Sometimes resistant bacteria, or infections like streptococcal throat, require a different class of antibiotics.
What you should do now:
I strongly advise you to consult through video call with me for proper detailed history and prescription.
The above and below ones are just differentials not a proper diagnosis
Or else
Continue paracetamol every 6–8 hours as needed (do not exceed the daily maximum dose). As fever is not settling with oral medications might need to start him on IV Paracetamol.
Ensure he is well hydrated, takes plenty of fluids, and gets rest.
Tepid sponging (wiping the body with lukewarm water) can help lower fever when it’s very high.
Most importantly: since the fever is not coming under control and it’s already the 3rd day, . He may need a throat examination, blood tests, or even a change in antibiotics.
If he develops difficulty in breathing, severe throat pain preventing swallowing, dehydration, or persistent high fever >104°F despite medicines, please do not delay—visit the emergency room immediately.

For your son as its high grade step ladder type of fever , it may mostly be typhoid in first place as monsoons season ! So i suggest give high dose tab . Paracetamol 1.2gm po bd at home and get blood test of widal , dengue and malaria [ fever profile ] . And mostly I feel your son must be admitted in hospital for injectable IV management.
Look if neglected it will cause more harm to your son .
