Not able to workout
Hi, I am into strength training from past thirty years just to maintain fitness. I eat a balanced diet. For explosive workout I started taking pre-workout(preKaged) one scoop everyday from past five years, gradually my body got adapted to it and I don't feel it's effect anymore but not able to start a workout without taking it. Nowadays I can hardly workout for half an hour everyday, I feel dizzy so have to stop workout without completing. My blood reports are normal I want to do proper workout everyday, I don't understand why I feel so tired and lack of energy. Please guide me about what is wrong with me.. Thank you

Taking any supplement continuously from 5 years is not good & specially without any health specialist consultation. There could be another root cause of the problem which you are not aware of it. Please go for further investigation also.

Hi Good morning! First of all, that’s a wonderful consistency to maintain all these years. Taking a pre workout supplement for 5 years continuously, may not be good for your health. I understand that your blood test reports are fine. But have you looked for Vitamin D, B12, fasting insulin, TSH and kidney function test? How is your water intake, sleep and stress levels. Poor gut health could also be a reason for exhaustion. Reduce the intensity of your workout for 1-2 weeks. Try taking pre workout foods like low-fat yogurt with fruits, oats with milk and fruits (1-2 hours before), or fruit smoothies.

Taking Supplements to long is not recommendable, try some other pre workout like boiled sweet potato, fruit, Yogurt etc.
