Multivitamins can be consumed when you have severe nutrient deficiencies or when a person is malnourished. If you are facing nutrient deficiency, you can try including the following foods in your diet: - Try including more whole grains and millets in your diet and avoid consuming refined foods as they lack essential vitamins. - Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. - While consuming vegetable soups avoid straining them and don't the discard the water in which they are boiled. - Instead of fruit juices try consuming whole fruits to gain maximum nutrients. - You can also look for products fortified with vitamins such as milk or cereals.

Healthy morning Vegetarian, taking multivitamin daily is generally safe and beneficial, but the timing and frequency depends on your diet and health status Vegetarian diets can sometimes be low in certain nutrients especially, vitamin B12, D , iron, zinc, omega-3 A good quality multivitamin helps fill these nutritional gaps and maintain energy Daily use is completely safe for most people if you stay within recommended doses You can also take 5 days a week or 3-4 weeks continuously followed by a 1 week gap , if your diet is nutrient rich-this gives your body a small rest periods

Hello there, If your diet is lacking certain nutrients and you are experiencing some sypmtoms like fatigue, hairfall, brittle nails, leg cramping, etc then you need to get your blood parameters checked. If the reports say so only then take multivitamin. For vegetarians vitamin B12 deficiency is very common.

Can show me your reports and we can discuss further plan of treatment. Consult via practo

Yes , it is generally safe for vegetarians to take a multivitamin daily, if it’s a standard, balanced supplement and not taken in proper supervision. You can also take it in cycles (e.g. 2–3 months on, then a few weeks off) Vegetarian diets are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and phytonutrients — but can sometimes be low in a few key vitamins and minerals, such as: Vitamin B12,iron Vitamin D,Zinc, calcium and omega 3. before taking any multivitamin you may go for some blood screening. thankyou

Yes, you can take a good quality multivitamin daily, especially since vegetarian diets may sometimes lack nutrients like vitamin B12, iron, vitamin D, and omega-3. Taking it daily is usually safe, but it’s best to choose one that suits your age and needs. If you prefer, you can also take short breaks (like a few weeks gap after 2–3 months of use), but consistency helps more with maintaining nutrient levels. If you have any health issues or are already taking medications, it’s best to check once with your doctor before continuing long-term.
