Multivitamins and Fish Oil consumption
Just wanted to confirm as I am doing regular gym and diet, is it safe to have multivitamins and fish oil tablets as well? This has been suggested by lot of gym trainers however I just wanted to be sure (get confirmation from Specialist or Doctor). Please suggest? Also, if it is safe then could we take it daily 1 tablet each or I need to be careful on the quantity and regular consumption of it? Also, which Brand multivitamins and fish oil tabs I should go for? Thank you.

Multivitamins are a combination of essential vitamins and minerals that help support your overall health and improve your immunity. It is generally safe to take multivitamins. Supplements should be added to fill the gap in the diet, not to replace any food.  They are especially useful when your daily diet lacks a variety of foods, especially fruits and vegetables, and you are unable to meet your nutrient needs due to a busy lifestyle, low appetite, or dietary restrictions.   Nutrients like B-complex vitamins, vitamin D, iron, zinc, and magnesium play key roles in energy production, immunity, bone health, skin and hair health, and hormonal balance.  If you are eating a balanced diet with fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and healthy fats, your body may already be getting what it needs. Taking unnecessary supplements can do more harm than good in the long run. If you are feeling low on energy, falling sick, or have hairfall or dull skin, you may consider taking a multivitamin after consulting with your doctor.

Yes, you can safely take multivitamins and fish oil daily along with your workout routine — but only if your diet lacks variety. Ideally, your diet should include: 🥦 Green veggies 🍊 Fruits 🥜 Nuts & seeds 🧈 Healthy fats (like ghee, olive oil, fish) 🍚 Whole grains & protein-rich foods If your intake is inconsistent or limited (like during fat loss or muscle gain phases), then supplements help bridge the gap.

Hi It’s better to do a blood test before starting any supplements. If you don’t have deficiencies, then just take for a month and stop it. Fish oil capsule could be 250-500 mg EPA+DHA, for a month.

First you must check your body’s vitamin test , after that you can start vitamin tablets ( if you are not deficient with any of the vitamins then no need to consume multivitamins)
