Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. Your case has been allotted to me. I understand your concern. Feeling constantly low on energy, with leg and back pain, body fatigue, and poor sleep are very common complaints that usually point toward nutritional deficiencies, stress-related fatigue, or hormonal imbalance rather than a serious illness. When multiple systems feel low at the same time, it often reflects reduced cellular energy production due to vitamin or mineral deficits. 1. Advices Follow a consistent sleep schedule — aim for 7–8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Include eggs, milk, paneer, sprouts, fruits, and green vegetables daily. Stay hydrated and avoid skipping meals or excess caffeine. 2. What to Monitor Whether tiredness is constant or increases with exertion. Any additional symptoms like hair loss, brittle nails, or mood changes. 3. Management From your description, the likely causes include Vitamin D deficiency, Vitamin B12 deficiency, or Iron deficiency. These are very common and fully correctable. You should get the following basic tests done: • CBC • Vitamin D3 • Vitamin B12 • Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH) • Blood sugar (Fasting) Meanwhile, you can start a multivitamin once daily after breakfast and include 1 teaspoon of ghee or olive oil daily for vitamin D absorption. If vitamin D or B12 are found low, the usual correction plan is: Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once weekly after meals for 8 weeks. Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg daily after breakfast for 3 months. Mild stretching or a short 20-minute walk daily will improve circulation and energy naturally. 4. When to Consult a Doctor Immediately If you feel excessive weakness, dizziness, or unintentional weight loss. If pain becomes severe or associated with numbness or tingling. Every patient’s situation is unique. Once the deficiencies are identified and corrected, energy levels and sleep quality improve significantly within a few weeks. 👉 You can reach out to me directly for this case, and also connect with me in future for any medical consultation. I am available on Practo or on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a one-on-one consultation, where you’ll receive: • A personalized vitamin and lifestyle plan • Safe medicine adjustments (if required) • Quick follow-ups to track your recovery Take care, wishing you good health and restful sleep. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

Possible common causes These symptoms often come from one or more of the following: 1. Anemia (low hemoglobin) – very common; causes fatigue, body pain, poor sleep. 2. Vitamin D or B12 deficiency – leads to muscle pain, leg aches, weakness, tingling. 3. Thyroid imbalance (hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism) – affects energy, sleep, mood, and metabolism. 4. Sleep issues or stress – disturbed sleep can cause body pain and fatigue. 5. Poor diet, dehydration, or lack of physical activity. 6. Chronic infection, post-viral weakness, or hormonal changes.
Next Steps
What you should check Take a few basic blood tests: CBC (Hemoglobin, RBC, WBC counts) Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12 levels Thyroid profile (TSH, T3, T4) Fasting blood sugar Liver and kidney function tests (LFT, KFT) These can identify most nutritional or hormonal causes
Health Tips
1. Nutrition: Eat iron-rich foods (green leafy veggies, eggs, dates, jaggery). Add protein sources (milk, curd, pulses, chicken, paneer). Get morning sunlight (15–20 mins) for Vitamin D. Drink enough water (2.5–3 L/day). 2. Sleep: Maintain a regular bedtime, avoid screens 1 hr before sleep. Avoid caffeine late in the day. Try relaxation or breathing before bed. 3. Activity: Gentle stretching or a short walk daily can improve circulation and reduce muscle pain. 4. Supplements (after checking levels): Vitamin D3 (weekly or monthly) and Vitamin B12 (daily or weekly) — as advised by your doctor.
