Unintentional weight loss can be alarming as there can be many reasons due to which the weight-loss might have occurred so it’s important to first consult a healthcare practitioner to rule out any underlying issue. From a nutrition perspective to achieve healthy weight gain focus on adding nutrient rich foods gradually and in a balanced way. • Include calorie dense, nutritious foods such as whole grains, nuts and oilseeds and dried fruits. • For snacks you can consider having roasted chana, groundnuts, home-made millet and nut laddoos, trail mixes. • Prioritize protein rich foods like eggs, lean meats, fish, dairy, legumes and soya products to support muscle gain. • Consume healthy fats such as ghee, ground nut oil, mustard oil, almonds, cashews and walnuts. • Start by consuming small and frequent meals throughout the day. • Include resistance training along with other physical activities which will help build more muscle.

Hii The dietplan needs to focus more on complex carbs but with a mix of good omega fatty acids and protein . Also nuts are a good source for the same . A scheduled food timing is also recommended so that the body metabolises the food better .

Hi, I can understand your concern it can feel worrying to lose weight so quickly. The good news is that with the right nutrition and routine, you can gain healthy weight. Try to eat small, frequent meals (5–6 a day) instead of only two or three big ones. Include calorie-rich but nutritious foods like nuts, seeds, dates, paneer, curd, pulses, and whole grains. Adding a little ghee, olive oil, or nut butters can boost calories in a healthy way. Make sure you get enough protein, as it helps you build muscle rather than just fat dals, soy, milk products, or even a protein supplement if needed can support this. Alongside food, light strength or resistance training will help your body use the nutrition better. Keeping regular meal timings and getting good sleep are also very important. If your weight loss has been sudden or unexplained, I’d also suggest a basic health check-up to rule out any medical causes. With consistency, you’ll start noticing healthy weight gain over time.
