Your TSH level is below normal range .As you are using thyroxin 75 mcg daily ,i assume that you are under treatment for hypothyroidism
Hyperthyroidism can also be caused by taking too much thyroid hormone medicine for hypothyroidism. This is called factitious hyperthyroidism.
Since you have not mentioned T3 T4 levels it's not appropriate to comment on it
Next Steps
The thyroxin dosage needs to be modified ,but under the supervision of your doctor
I understood your concern and noted the problem as well .I need to ask few more details to make a diagnosis and start treatment and advice which suits you. Pl consult me on Practo , so that I can help you better.book a time slot as per your convenience for consultation.
Share the complete report.. If possible previous reports also.. How much weight u have lost? Is it significant..? Detailed clinical history is required, u can consult.
Increasing or decreasing the dose of thyroxine is a very tricky thing and it needs a complete thyroid profile report to understand the actual activity of your thyroid.
At this level of TSH, I don't think weight loss is due to thyroid hormones. You must be evaluated for other reasons too. Most of the time patients with wrong dietary habits develop these situations.
According to your sign and symptom and report you have query about TSH with Thyronorm tablet.
As you know that best treatment depend on the correct diagnosis and correct diagnosis depend on the complete history of the patient so please take consultation from a doctor and give complete history of the patient so that correct diagnosis will be make and then best treatment will be start
Next Steps
You should change the dose of medicine after taking of consultation only .
Health Tips
do test thyroid profile in the fixed interval of month .
