In cases of hypothyroidism many times hypokalemia is found to be linked
Which may present as cramps and weakness of all limbs
Try to take ors when you feel so and other supplements
Not only leg spasm are linked to hypothyroid and hypocalcemia..its also related to hypomagnesemia and hypokalemia..
In short take potassium and magnesium supplement as well
Thanks

Your leg pain could be related to your hypothyroidism and the increase in your medication. Hypothyroidism can cause muscle pain, and low calcium or vitamin D might contribute to cramps. Be cautious about Leg pain that improves with walking as it could suggest circulation or nerve issues ,better to do a D Dimer test or a doppler USG of leg ,
Hormonal changes from your menstrual cycle can also make muscle aches worse.
Let me know if you're also feeling fatigued or sensitive to cold, also is pain radiating from lumbar area or gluteal region towards legs also any stiffness while waking up etc ..proper history is very much important to make the right diagnosis..
Next Steps
Do a D Dimer test or USG Doppler leg to rule out clot related leg pain
s.vit d and calcium
Health Tips
Staying active with gentle stretches might help relieve the pain especially if it's related to nerve pain , if you are good at yoga you can do bridge pose , tadasana ,ardhachakrasana etc..
Hello,
It seems like your leg pain and spasms could be related to your hypothyroidism, especially with fluctuating TSH levels. Hypothyroidism can often lead to muscle cramps and spasms, particularly if calcium and vitamin D levels are low. I suggest getting your calcium and vitamin D levels checked. Supplementation might indeed help in managing these symptoms if any deficiency is found.
Additionally, muscle cramps can sometimes worsen around menstrual cycles due to hormonal changes. Increasing your thyroid dosage to 88 mcg should help stabilize TSH, but it may take a few weeks to notice improvement in symptoms.
I recommend adding a calcium and vitamin D supplement like Shelcal-CT as suggested by another doctor, but it's essential to ensure the correct dosage based on your blood test results. Staying hydrated and stretching your legs gently before resting may also reduce spasms.
