Knee joint pain
I have knee joint from many years. It's more while climbing stairs, when I move after sitting for a while and while bending. I used to to gym and walk. After getting pregnant I stopped all physical activities. Now I have a 3 month old baby. The knee joint pain is still there. I'm 31 yr old height 5 2 and weight 66 kgs after delivery. Prior pregnancy weight was 58 kgs. What shall I do for relief from this pain

It may be possible chondromalacia patella.Your delivery would have added flavour to your problem by increasing the hormone relaxin levels.

Please avoid staircase for few months, If you have swelling , you can apply hot pack nearby swelling 10 minutes morning and evening for few days or till swelling goes off. After relief of pain you can do quadriceps  strengthening exercises or extensor muscles strengthening exercises and morning walk with rest.

Please avoid staircase,  sitting at ground or squating. Try to avoid long continuous walk . Try to avoid prolong standing  in kitchen. In the situation of getting down on floor or getting up , use half kneeling to standing Functional movement . Please try to reduce weight.

U need to consult to the physiotherapist for knee pain n to reduce weight.  Avoid stair climbing or use knee support.  Avoid complete bending of knees like squatting etc.

In my opinion Just try it once do free Cycling means without nay resistance and it should be slowly

Firstly get an X ray done of both knees.Secondly consult a physical therapist. Some exercises of the quadriceps is to be done.and use of some electrical modalities is req .

Hi, try to follow with some icing on painful joint and then do some quadriceps strengthening followed by walk for 45 minutes. U can take break in between after every 15 minutes. Do this for a week or two and then consult a therapist to follow with some further treatment.
