Knee pain around knee cap
I'm having knee pain from april 2nd 2020. I used to use indian toilet. Climbing stairs is very difficult task now. Few times there is pain in the knee when I get up from a chair or seated position.. Have taken 2 different types of OTC drugs prescribed by a orthopedic doc,no use Few times it is JUST LIKE STABBING PAIN WITH A SHARP KNIFE . I had started with simple quad strengthening exercises ,but still pain is there. So I stopped the exercises. Is it an ACL tear or MCL tear? Or ligament problem?? What must be the cause of my pain???? What else should I do?? Feels like I won't be able to walk or climb stairs again. I feel low each and every day. Is this the end of my life???

Rest with ice application for 3-4 days if pain persists consult with a  musculoskeletal physiotherapist, electrotherapy sessions will help you if still not OK go for imaging sciences.

Knee is a joint whose function is to bend n straighten, and slight rotation. But wn there s excess loading in the end range of knee bent or straighten along with some torsion leads to knee pain. If u hv a habit to keep Ur both knees together n feet away that can lead to inner knee joint pain. ACL injury and other ligament injuries happens while playing contact sports or sudden twisting injury or any accidental fall. U can also experience knee pain with excess muscle tightness and opposite muscle weakness, which leads to muscle imbalance and joint pain. U should 1. Do icing to Ur knee joint at least twice or thrice a day 2. Avoid crossing of legs 3. Do quadriceps, hamstring, inner groin and calf muscles stretching exercises 4. If u hv a foam roller do release of sides of Ur thigh 5. When pain reduces start quadricep and gluteus muscles and core muscles strengthening exercises

Your knee pain could be ligament sprain or meniscal injury. You should give Cryotherapy or Ice therapy to the knee joint for 15-20 minutes every four hours for 5 days. You can use Volini gel or spray to the site provided you are not allergic.
Next Steps
You should do knee mobilization and strengthening exercises twice a day with proper guidance. If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physician or Orthopaedist or Physiotherapist in person or online.
Health Tips
Avoid full squat and cross leg sitting. Avoid floor sitting.
