Job related stress
From the past few months, I am constantly having the thoughts of leaving my current job. As i am feeling very down, irritated while i work their. Also one of my collegue has a different mindset and having a toxic mentality accoeding. So i am feeling very much uncomfortable to work in that enviornmemt. With this i am underpaid and the employer extracts many works from me, rather than shifting of works to other working members. I had a good support and worked very honestly with the current employer. But now i feel i don't have any value there, every attentions and compliments are given to the other person who works very less ( i don't have any problem, but it still hurts me). I am also having a fear of financial problem, if i leave this job and my confidence is very much low about myself. I don't have the courage to take this decision and i questions my skills and talent. All things are made my mind crazy and i am unable to make decisions. Please guide me, how i can tackle this issue.

Hi Thanks for reaching out. You are feeling stressed about how you are treated in the workplace. You are not happy about the way your colleague is behaving. You are not getting credit for the amount of work you are doing. You are doing good work but you are not appreciated for it. You are working hard but you are not paid well for the amount of work you are doing. Based on what you have mentioned it seems like you are enjoying your work but you are not getting support from colleagues and you are not happy with the work environment. You feel the work environment is toxic and it is triggering thoughts of wanting to change job. You are also worried about financial situation and you are in two minds about whether to keep this job or not. I suggest you consult a psychologist and explain about what you are going through in the workplace. A psychologist can help you arrive at a decision about whether you want to keep this job or not. Whatever decision you take do it with a calm state of mind. You are a hardworking and ambitious person and you will surely take the right decision. You can make a note of your skill sets and arrive at a decision. It is important to remember your well-being is important. Chronic stress at workplace should not affect your mental and physical health.

It's completely natural to feel overwhelmed and stuck in a situation like the one you're facing. Considering the complexity of your feelings and circumstances, working with a life coach can be immensely beneficial. A life coach can help you gain clarity, boost your confidence, and develop a clear action plan to navigate this challenging situation. Through coaching, you can identify your strengths and talents, explore new career opportunities, and build a roadmap for a more fulfilling professional life. Additionally, a life coach can provide emotional support, help you set realistic financial goals, and guide you towards a healthier work-life balance. Together, you can work on strategies to handle your current job while seeking alternative options, ultimately regaining your sense of value and self-assurance. It's an empowering step towards a brighter and more satisfying future.

Hi... Please update your resume on job platforms online. Even if it means just updating the date or resubmitting your resume. Most recruiters/hr professionals search based on the recently updated resumes. Once you do that start working in your present company based on what your manager/supervisor tells you to do or expects from you, without using your own personal discretion. This kind of harassment and politics usually happens when your manager is not in support of you or instead is against you for some reason. Remember, job performance or growth in the same company is not just an outcome of your talent or hard work, but also the soft part of your performance which includes people's perception of you. Wherever humans are appraising human the outcome will be highly subjective. We all make decisions not just based on facts but also based on our own intuition, liking, opinion, etc. Your lack of confidence in finding a better job or handling the financial burden is more a product of your internal fears and social reality (family background, education, backup, etc.). You can seek counselling to address these concerns.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Interpersonal Guidance and Career Counselling is required.
