Yes, it is possible for conditions like depression and OCD to go into long-term remission, especially with proper treatment and consistent support. Many people experience significant improvement in their symptoms over time. However, for some individuals, these conditions may require ongoing management rather than completely disappearing. The goal of treatment is usually to reduce the intensity and frequency of symptoms so that they no longer interfere significantly with daily life. Feeling restless or having a constant uncomfortable or “weird” feeling can sometimes be linked to anxiety, stress, or the ongoing mental effort of dealing with intrusive thoughts and emotions. These experiences can be very distressing, but they are treatable with the right combination of therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and sometimes medication.
Next Steps
• Consult a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and treatment plan. • Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) are often effective for OCD. • If prescribed, follow medication plans regularly and maintain follow-up appointments. • Incorporate healthy routines such as regular sleep, exercise, and stress-management practices. • Consider journaling or mindfulness techniques to help manage intrusive thoughts and emotional distress.
Health Tips
Recovery from depression and OCD is usually a gradual process rather than a quick change. It is important to be patient with yourself and stay consistent with treatment. With proper support and coping strategies, many people are able to lead fulfilling and stable lives despite these challenges.

Long term remission is possible. All three conditions can be very difficult to handle, but might be interrelated
Next Steps
It would be best to have a combination of psychiatrist and clinical psychologist. Regular medicines+ Psychotherapy is one the most effective ways to sustain a remission
Health Tips
kindly consult a qualified RCI registered Clinical psychologist only as these Illnesses are ICD/DSM coded and can be helped/managed by a trained professional only.

Long-term remission is definitely possible with proper treatment. Depression and OCD are treatable, and many people improve significantly with therapy (CBT/ERP) and medication if needed. You don’t have to just “manage and suffer.” The constant weird feeling may be anxiety-related and needs proper assessment.
Next Steps
• Consult a psychiatrist for evaluation • Start CBT with ERP • Check thyroid, B12, Vitamin D • Regulate sleep and reduce caffeine
Health Tips
Avoid self-diagnosing or constantly researching symptoms online — it can worsen OCD cycles. Recovery is gradual, not instant. Be patient with the process. If symptoms include suicidal thoughts, immediate professional help is necessary.

Depression, restlessness, and OCD together can feel exhausting and overwhelming. yes, long-term remission is absolutely possible. Many people with OCD and depression improve significantly with the right treatment. For some, symptoms go into full remission. For others, it becomes something they learn to manage very effectively so it no longer controls their life.
Next Steps
The “constant weird feeling” is often linked to anxiety or ongoing stress and is treatable too. You don’t have to just live with it. Structured therapy (like CBT/ERP) and, if needed, medication can make a real difference.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that. The best course of action for these symptoms is to figure out a way which will work best for you to manage these symptoms which can eventually help you to achieve remission. A trained therapist will help you to create a symptom management plan and then once remission is achieved, they will also help you to create a plan which will help you to achieve long term remission.
Next Steps
It will be helpful to take sessions with a psychologist, they will guide you further
