Homeopathy usually contains plant steroids so on the long run its harmful but initially you will feel better. Ayurvedic medications as long as it is the topical medications which many of my patients have seen using as they take ayurvedic consultation also do not show any bad outcome..so there is no harm in trying it if you want to. Unlikely at 33 years there is osteochondritis in both legs..from what you are saying it looks more like chondromalacia of both knees..please clarify..allopathy and exercises and physiotherapy will help in getting you back to your sports..
