Knee pain while playing badminton
I have knee injured a year ago and couldn't walk during that time after medication and exercises after 9 months am able to walk and climb stairs. Now, I would like to start playing badminton and am feeling the pain is coming. I have my MRI scan and is mentioned with following impressions 6 months ago MRI report 1. Strain at femoral attachment of Lateral collateral ligament and medial patellar retinaculum is seen. 2. Intrasubstance PDFS hyperintense signal is seen at the entire length of ACL with mild disruption of posterior lateral fibers is seen likely-low grade partial thickness tear with strain. 3.Mild tendinitis seen at quadriceps tendon. 4 Moderate effusion is seen at patello – femoral recess. 5.Mild soft tissues edematous changes is seen at infrapatellar region. 6 Subcentimetric, subchondral cyst seen at particular margins of tibial plateau. 7.PDFS hyperintense signal marrow edema changes seen at patella and tibial plateau regions. 8.Tiny loose body seen at lateral condyle femur.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any.  -Any way it may be tried, -postpone your sports --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep  a pillow under the knee. --. You have injury of anterior lateral part of knee. Mainly ligaments are having partial tears.
Next Steps
Post pone the idea of playing badminton for 6 months Wear hinged knee brace Physiotherapy to relieve pain and strengthen muscles of knee Use tab tendocare forte , one tab two times a day for 2 months Analgesics sos
