Midfoot sprain while playing badminton
Dear Doctor, While I was playing badminton due to sudden movement my middle foot got sprained. Got severe pain and wasn't able to walk, immediately rushed to the general physician he kept some gel and kept an elastic crepe bandage. After two days for a second opinion I went to an orthopaedic doctor with foot xray He said No fracture, just do RICE(rest, ice, compress, elevate). I am following everything, pain is varying (sometimes more and sometimes less) Swelling also (sometimes more sometimes less).Am going to office but walking less and also trying to keep less pressure on this right leg. 20 days for now ,but still swelling is present. So worried 😟 why pain and swelling is not reducing. And when I will start my regular physical activities. How much time it takes to heal? Or Do I need to consult any other doctor? Request you to please suggest and help me.
