Hey doctor ,
I have been going to the gym for the last 6 months and maintaining strict dieting not consuming any fast food and zero sugar. I am eating fruits and juicy sugar free and home made food chickpeas moong daal etc.
In the first 2 months I lost 8 kg weight however in the last 4 months I was only able to lose 2 kg only .
I was suggested to consume' L-carnitine' and also ' Testofuel Shilajit whey protein' to get better results with lean body and abs and cutting while continuing gym and my diet.
Shall I go for it or not please guide me .
Regards
Akash Goswami

Hello Akash, I see that your consistency & dedication seems to giving you good results. However, L carnitine n Whey protein cannot be suggested unless I see your liver & renal profile tests. These supplements works on body metabolism so suggested during weight management journey but under professional supervision. The catch here is they might be harmful in case of any of your liver or renal values are not in range.
Next Steps
Start with Methi seeds & Cumin seeds water in morning. Green tea with cinnamon. Balance diet with high fibre, low fat and low complex carbohydrates
Hello Mr Akash ,
Weight loss and lean muscle gain in a continuous journey. Dont take extreme low carb diet dont take extream high protein or high fat diet you shuld consider all the components of kitchen nutrition. And yes gym products are good for enhancing your performance but at the same time toll on your health. There are some clinical formulas as well. Dont buy any products from gym unless you have been prescribed by a qualified sports nutritionist or Dietitian.
After loosing weight we can go for muscle gain and activation of muscle by scheduled exercises.
All the best
